The AIU employs teachers, administrators, and other education experts.  Together with local school districts, the AIU provides a wide variety of special and regular education programs and support services.  The AIU also operates an innovative online charter school (PALO) and three special education centers where students thrive and learn.

Management of Early Education Classrooms

The AIU manages many early education classrooms throughout Allegheny County.  Parents can enroll their children in the AIU’s Head Start, DART, and Pre-K Counts programs, which are available in a variety of settings.

Through our collaborative partnerships with school districts and various service agencies, the AIU fosters positive educational change and innovation.
